Subject: quick question about the cyclone feed
Date Posted: 02 April 2006 at 12:08am
i have the a-5 and was wondering, i seem to be going through a lot of air and i'll run out of air faster than anyone that has an a-5 and i'll run out using less shots/paintballs than them. i was wondering if anyone out there knows if there's a way to adjust the air flow to the cyclone feed system to minimize the air flow and maximize my air reserves. any help would be deeply appreciated.

The Cyclone uses excess air so you dont waste any. Lowering the rate of fire wouldnt help because eventually you would still use the same amount of air. It would just take you longer to get there.
Make sure there are no leaks anywhere in the marker.

yeah there's no leaks in my gun...i did at first when i bought it brand new and repaired those leaks. i just don't know why i'm using up all my air supply so quick. i have a nitro tank (72ci 3000psi) and it's supposed to last up to 1000 rounds (according to many websites and from the maker itself) but i'm lucky if it lasts over 700 rounds (i keep an accurate count on how many times i reload my hopper with my 140 round pods)

Actually 700 rounds is right where it should be . using 10 as the multiplyer for a 3000psi tank 10 * 72= 720

yea thats actually better for me getting 720 shots (i have the same tank) bc the field i play at has n2 all day for 10$ so if i fill up three times its still 10, but if i use my co2 then its 12, i know its a really small difference but hey theres a drink and a donught haha
