this is the version with my 16in ironman series boomstick

this is the version with my flat line and shroud

i just got my boomstick yesterday so i havent had a chance to test it out yet. im thinking of gettting rid of my flatline but im not sure really. on the one hand it goes farther and has pretty good accuracy. on the other the shroud is a pain the butt to get off and makes it incredibly hard to clean on the field with out taking off the adapter which adds the hastle of getting the curve just right again when puting it back on. my plans are to be a sniper with the possibility of getting an e-grip later on to go full auto, so any opinions and reasons you guys would prefer one barrel over the other? thx for your input

*edit* heres a list of what its packing right now:

is boomstick 16in, flatline barrel, rufus dawg ventury bolt, cyclone feeder, 6 stage expansion chamber, double trigger, stock, bipod, remote, red dot sight, rocket cock.

any suggestions as to what i could do with out or what i should add to it i will probably do an electronic trigger(i have the older halves so i would be better off getting a pro-e) and i dont really like the rt's.

i had a response tyrigger on it for a little while but i didnt really like it, im thinking i might strip it down and sell off the original 98 c and buy a custom pro-e and put all the upgrades back on. but that still leaves my dilema of which barrel to keep cause selling off the gun and one of the barrels would give me roughly enough for the pro-e, man i have too many ambitions for this gun and definately not enough money lol

if i had all the money id get a lpk with a palmers reg, nice air tank, an electronic trigger and then use one of the two barrels i currently have but 300 to 400 dollars is kinda out of my ballpark currently lol. so im mainly worried about accuracy, what would be a better barrel for that, currently im shooting at ranges that dont really require the flatline as far as i can tell. also what kind of upgrades would be worth the money to get higher accuracy, im not really concerned too much about bps

If you're gonna sell the 98c and get a Pro E, keep the Boomstick.

I like the Flatty setup best.

I've been using the EGrips but have recently installed two R/T's and I think
I'm beginning to like them better. Weird but true.

yeah the pipod is made of steel too but i figured id give it a try for only 20 bucks (worst deal i ever made, had to modify it on a mill before the legs would even fold out properly).

also i never really thought too much on it but how well does a flatline react to an eletronic trigger granted that probably all depends on the paint used.

Of course there is. If you choose to camp in a spot and pick off people as they walk in range isn't that called "sniping?" Although, most of the time people don't do this a lot do sense it's woodsball.

yeah im think that im going to sell off the 98c with the flatline and buy a pro-e i have this bad feeling that the flatline will just splatter balls if im using an e-trigger, and lets face it marbs arnt cheap.

I've never had a ball break. ever. and I'm told the flatline is prone to breaking balls. I'm not sure though...I have a friend with one and I don't like how much weight they add.

yeah especialy old ones, i had a bag sitting around for about 2 months and decided to just get rid of it via target practice. the second ball that came out shattered then i couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and every 5th shattered, but that was my fault for not pawning them off on my friend lol. i love marbles but they are expensive and i cannot find any place where i live that sells them. last time i ordred a case online every bag had anywhere from 2 to 5 breaks in it, so i spent the better part of 2 hours cleaning them.

there are snipers in paintball.  I suggest if your going to cammo the gun then you should cammo the hopper tank barrel whatever.  They sell tank and hopper covers for paintball guns that would work well with what you have going.  If you want to do a custom job then you could always paint the hopper.  Lastly they have some nice guillie covers for guns.

Not bad, i definitely like how the flatline looks on the 98c w/out the camo, and the 98c w/out the camo, it just looks more realistic... especially when you put a scope on there.  All my friends envy it.
