I installed my cyclone feed to my 98 custom and apperantly the system was supposed to come with a sealant or adhesive. So I just put it back together try it without sealant and there is a leak where the sealent goes by the threading. My question is Does anyone know what kind of sealant I am supposed to use or is there a substitute for the sealant such as gorilla glue, super glue, teflon tape, cement glue?
If you can answer this please do any suggestions would be great. I just wanted to get some instruction before I try something I may regret later.

In my experience, one of the best sealants is the Blue gel type Permatex or LocTite sealants. They set up quickly and the fittings can be remove the standard tools. You can even re-position a fitting and the this sealant will continue to hold.

Is there any other substitutes for the blue gel?
Would gorilla glue work because it expands when it dries so it gets a tight seal.

the only air connection to the cyclone is the banjo fitting. there should have been a little o-rig on the thread side, if it was missing check you packaging or contact tippmann for another one. Do not put lock tite or an adhesive to the power tube port, it is made of plastic and it will destroy it.

Maybe I didn't understand the instructions correctly it states

Put provided sealant on threads of the gas line and attach power tube/valve.  there was no sealant provided but i am still confused on what part needs the sealant because the names are not helping one bit.

Here on the Tippmann site look up the schematics of your marker so you understand the names of the parts and can unserstand the directions. Do you actually know where the fitting connects to the power tube?

And no, G-Glue does not seal this kind of stuff well. LockTite and Permaseal are the products you want...blue is low enough strength that it can be easily removed. Red cannot be, easily.

The Cyclone Feed kit should have come with some red Loctite. If it didn't go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy a tube.
