In the process of moding my new A-5.  Q-loader should be delivered tomorrow.  Next month, I plan on getting a male Palmers & the JCS rva kit.  I run 47/3000 HPA (with a 20 oz. CO2 as backup).

No internal mods have been performed on this marker yet, although I plan on polishing the internals over the next few days.  My question concerns one of the two available JCS gold tube upgrades available at http://www.bp-usa.com/a_5.htm - http://www.bp-usa.com/a_5.htm  (page down to see the two available.)  I'm assuming I need to use the 2nd one shown (75167) since with the q-loader, I'll no longer have the cyclone feed system, BUT, is this upgrade worth it, or is the Freak show fva mod satisfactory?  (If so, that's 35 bucks + shipping that could be put elsewhere.)

I've read one user's test results of said upgrade in one of my searches (somewhere) that were, quite frankly, phenomenal, but it is my understanding that typically, there is little to no noticable improvement.

Opinions?

The few testes I have seen shows that most internal upgrades dont give much of an improvement.

BUT.. The JSC gold powertube is the one that gives the most benefit.. If you have the money it should be noticeable on your consistency.

And in case anyone wonders what front bolt is the best.. The Dead on Pro front bolt was the best in the same test.

I was going to buy the gold JCS a while back and ask the seller if that was the best tube out on the market. He told me that all aftermarket tubes will show very little improvement in performance and his opinion was that they are just a waste of money. I than took my money and put it towards something more useful.

It takes an honest sales man to say that.  This guy deserves your business :P
