I heard from my buddy that you can use an airsoft gun in a paintball game as long as you use the tiny paintballs. Is this true? Because I have a little pistol and I think it would be fun to just break out my Italian paintballgun and shoot. Thanks ------------- Thinking about it... |

I don't think most fields will let you do that. Just get a paintball gun and be a man.

Airsoft paintballs are crap. And won't work with any "Good" airsoft gun... only cheap springers.
Better to keep each sport within it's own realm. Paintball is best left to larger caliber pneumatic guns. Airsoft is better left to small caliber plastic BBs. |

Would be an interesting combo, 20m ranged paintball guns against my Tanaka K98 450fps 8mm BB, yes 8mm BB, airsoft rifle, with a reach out and ouch someone range of 150m.
Real men use 7.62X51 though................. -------------

while we're at the weapons talk, how about a 7" bore Howitzer? i've played a 4v4 game were you played with a paintball in each hand and you had to break the paint on the other person. you could throw it or smack them with it. it was a lot like hand to hand combat ------------- Wubadoo |

Except when it is not a wallyworld airsoft, but a TOP M60 firing .25's at 400fps, it will hurt you a lot more than me..LoL
And getting whacked in the "brain housing group" from 100m away with a .43 8mm BB at 450fps will make a believer out of you too...... -------------

Uh yeah. You dont want to mess with real airsofters. Those friggin sniper rifles hurt like the **edited**ens and have far better range than we could hope for.
And like Old Soldier said, you dont want to bunker one of those guys rocking a 60 or a SAW. We started hosting AirSoft up at CDP where I play. Doing some reffing for them has given me an appreciation for the game. I am all paintball, but those guys are hard core. And real men fire 7.62X54R.
