alright, first off i would like to welcome you to the forum... now, lets get down to business. i have noticed that here at the tippmann forums there are a few topics that are taboo...basically, if you talk about them you get pelted with virtual rocks. i would like to share a few of them with you that i have encountered. 1.)posting in the marker gallery to post in the marker gallery you need to post a picture...not ask for a picture. i got called on this one. just read the rules to each area or go over http://www.tippmann.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=106496&PN=1 - this before posting for a while...that way you can be sure. 2.)never, EVER say the word "sniper"...oops the word sniper is almost forbidden here. i had to fight hard to keep from getting buried on this one...its just not worth trying to defend your position on the subject, so if you want to be a paintball sniper, you will probably want to talk about it in another forum that is friendly to the idea. here are a few links to paintball sniper forums:
http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/ - Special Ops Forum http://www.pbsniper.com/Invision/ - pbsniper.com 3.)shotgun paintball guns, paintball knives, paintball bayonettes, etc. ok, so the idea of a shotgun paintball gun sounds cool, but it is not really something that you want to be talking about here...i am currently going against my own advice, but whatever, ill take the flak. now, paintball knives and stuff...i dont really understand what the heck that is all about, but people around here dont like the idea at all... 4.)use the search button...i have been told a couple of times that i am basically stupid and that the question has been asked before, so just use the search button and be safe... that is all that i can think about, feel free to ad to this list if you think of something ==================================================== now remember guys, this is supposed to be a list of things that you have personally taken flak for so that others dont have to go through it.... ==================================================== a few more, brought on by this thread alone.... 1.)no spamming...read the main rules, but i would consider repeating the same post over and over (read the uber faq) as spamming. 2.)try to keep on topic...... ------------- If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward. |

ummmmm....actually, i just recently joined this forum...first pb forum ever.....just recently purchased a tippmann 98 custom.........like a week ago.....first pb gun (i was looking at an ariakon sim4 ris-elite, but it was WAY too much money...) so, to be perfectly honest, i am a noob, a very very noob. and everything that i have posted here is my real life experience..... ------------- If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward. |
