Hi..I know i ask a bunch of questions..sorry lol...But anyways
ive been haveing problems with the drive spring/responce trigger, Right
now the only way i can make the responce trigger work is by useing a 8
inch drive spring..which is way long compared to stock..It might be
worn though..cause its close to a year old..as well as my other smaller
springs..I dont understand why some guys use stock springs thats only 4
3/8 inches long..How is that when mine takes 8 inches??. I
dont get it..also my gun doesnt leak at all..all the internals are
fine..could be because my springs are worn?...Also when i do have my 8
incher spring in my gun..my gun will fire a 3-5 shot burst then the
nubbing doesnt come out..so i have to let my finger off the trigger
then fire again for another burst..why wont the nubbing keep working
besides just for 4-5 shots?..i know the technique it takes to operate a
r/t..and i have adjusted the skrew to the best ROF..any help would be
apreciated so i can get this gun sorted out finally..thanks |

first of all put your stock spring in, there is no need for a 8" spring to be in there! messing arroung with spring rates is only going to get someone hurt or hurt your effiency/velocity. remove the flow controll valve on the right side of the gun, put a single drop of oil directly into the cylinder, if it gets all dried up it won't work well so lube it up. then go through the steps to sweet spot it. ------------- http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stickemup6of.jpg">

how many shots do you have on the marker? it would take hundreds of thousands of shots to weaken the drive spring. did you try oiling the R/T cylinder? ------------- http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?image=stickemup6of.jpg">

ive oiled everything..i bought the gun off ebay..the guy said he had
not touched it in a year..just been sitting in his closet..so im
guessing its pretty old...when i got the gun in the mail i cleaned it
up and relubed everthing and it works like a charm without the r/t...no
leaks..so thats why i think its the drive spring..all of the springs
look used also that came with the gun..what do you think? with a
smaller spring the gun doesnt waste enough gas for the r/t to funtion
properly..thats why i put the long one in..i guess there all old and
all..anything else you can think of? |

OK , If the Marker works without the R/T then the problem exist with the function of the R/T . Check every and all things related to the R/T,such as the power tube port , fittings all have o-rings , hoses, piston and piston housing. Download the schematic from the Tippmann site for reference and systematically check the R/T system. |
