I just bought some of the older Dye sticky grips off of eBay..and part of the grips sticks out in the back...I was wondering if the new Sticky 3's fit on the 98 custom smoothly without anything sticking out???(the grips were also hard to get on and the screws that they came with did not fit..so I used the stock screws..and yes the grips were a .45 frame)

they fit better but not perfectly, but you still need to use the stock screw with the 3's

if u bought the 6$ ones cause there cheap, like i did u have to drill a new hole and put the gun screw on first before the grip. an di rounded the edges and cut it in half so theres indvidual grips....cool

The 3's will still stick out also, I believe. Just cut them if you don't like the feel. I believe there was a page on "how to make Dye Stickies fit on a 98c" on http://www.model98.org - www.model98.org .
