Basicaly what happend on thursday at school was a girl spit in this huge black guys face and this guy punched the girl and she flew off the ground. You need to know this to understand the rest of the story.
O.K I was at the mall on Friday night to go see a movie (Benchwarmers) with some friends. I see that same guy go into the movies. The movie got out and I grabbed some chinese food. I noticed alot of w.iggers and latinos and a lot of black people in their separate section of the cafeteria. I usally never go to the mall but I wanted to get out. Some comotion was going on in the black group. They all run outside. Thats when I knew we had to go because first off I dont like large crowds and I knew something bad was going to happen. My friends and I go go to the car when we noticed a large group of black people surround the guy who punch the girl in the face car. The group was about 30 people, I see one guy slam his boot to the car window. Then the girl who got punched in the face jumps on the back windshield and jumps on it untill it breaks. They were all screaming. It was scary.

Hey,
My Car is protected by Bushmaster. I may only have 30 rounds...but I somehow doubt people will want to run the risk of a 50/50 chance of having an HP 5.56mm round in their chest. 50/50 because I shoot double-taps and controlled pair...er.

He's referring to his privately owned AR, I beleive. The USMC does not use Bushmasters; they mostly use Colts, and a few of them use Diemacos.

Hmm...
I'm not speaking from a military perspective. The military doesn't deal with angry club patrons.
I'm talking from the stand point of been there and done that. I don't know everything about street fighting, but I do know that I've bounced in a club full of rowdy drunks and that I've been jumped, beaten, knocked out, nearly arrested, bloodied, and broken a few times. Part of the job. I was lucky...I never took my hospital trip, but if you stay in the business long enogh, I'm sure you would.
So, why do I feel the need to have an AR15 in my vehicle?
Because I've been shot at and had numerous guns pulled on me. That and leaving work, angry club patrons...not a good mix. I don't know what's in their vehicle. And there are probably more of them than there are of me.
In simple retrospect of that post though, I think I'm going to get two more magazine for my rifle.
And yes, I do have SWS to the extreme. It's an Asian thing.
Good luck, good-to-go.

HO, I'd still reccommend a shotty instead of an AR for automotive defense. You won't need to engage at 100ft plus if you're defending your ride; a 12ga. would do just fine, plus it has better stopping power up close. I still don't trust the 5.56 round, especially when drugs and alcohol come into the equation...

True, but I've never shot a shotgun except for three times in my life.
Edit- And another thing! Why do I post about the military? This is my life. Ya'll post about car accidents, parents getting laid off, girl problems, drinking problems, etc. I post about my problems: nearly getting blown up by a 40mm grenade. What's the difference? Someone asked when we go to bed. 0800-2200 because revely goes at 0530 on average, sometimes 0400. How is this out-of-context?

I don't think anyone complained about the thread concerning your 40mm incident. It's the fact that you never post in a thread anymore without mentioning the armed service.
For example
"Dang guys, I got in a huge wreck today, my car was totaled"
The rest of the forum will proceed to either offer condolences, or tell them what a DA they were.
You, on the other hand, would find a way to connect it with you shooting a rocket launcher at dummy targets during basic. It's just overplayed, and makes you sound cheesey. Everyone is happy that you passed all your tests and everything, but honestly, we don't need to be reminded of it everytime you post.

Or you spend too much time in T&O.

It wouldn't have taken over the post if you hadn't brought it up. His post had nothing to do with the military.
Like someone said earlier, people post the most inane things on this forum. If he wants to post about the military every other day, let him. If you don't like it, simply don't respond to it.

so what? people relate things to stupid stuff all the time, i even do it from time to time, because its in my daily life and i can make the connection. i WISH i could shoot rockets at dummies, its better than sitting in school all day. and who cares if he mentions it everytime? if i passed everything (hopefully i will when time comes) id be pretty proud of that. its not really that big of a deal anyway.

Hey!
If you're 50m away from an angry drunk and still shooting you'll have a hell of a time explaining to the judge why you did that. And simply the plain sight and sound associated with racking a shotgun would stop most people from being a hero.
