I need a free ringtone composer

One were i can take my own songs and cut them down to ringtone size and turn them into a file so i can drag and drop them onto my phone. The ones on google just send them to your phone by text messaging and i don't have text messaging so that won't work.

Thanks

How does your phone connect, wire or bluetooth?

Yup, he actually said that.

You need a bluetooth dongle to plug into your USB port. You can get one for under $40.

What model of phone is it? You'll also need software that will recognize your phone, be it over wire or wireless. That software will need an FTP to allow transfer of files back and forth.

I know my phone's ringtones are simply MP3s. If yours is too, then all you need to do is chop the files to what you want.

Text messaging is a service that you can elect to pay for or not have.

oh my god you guys are all n00b.

look into Goldwave. it's a free wave editor and it's what i use to trim down songs for making my own ringtones. of course, this is only if you are making mp3 ringtones. polyphonic will have to be with some phone tools app that is as crappy as your phone. you can set the quality when you save the file to save space or make it sound best. probably my favorite wave editing program.

lol at all of you using phone tools.

Just get Goldwave or Audacity.
They're both free.
