I have a custom pro and sonce in a while it will try to fire like 2 to 3 times at once.  does anyone know what is causing this?

You need to give more detail  about you marker captain. Does it have an E- grip? Sounds like your debounce isn't set right in your e-grip.

i dont have an e- grip its a brand new custom pro with no upgrades

Usually this problem is caused by worn out parts, but if your gun is brand new, then that wouldn't be the problem? Have you taken the gun apart yet? There could be dirt or debris that is getting in the way of the sear, which is the part that catches the bolt to prevent double firing.

I had this problem with my CPro. We still arent sure why, but HPA fixed it. I still have no idea why.

yes i have taken it apart and im pretty sure no dirt or anything got inside it.

it's likely the sear, hammer, or sear spring.
