i did mediocre. last nine weeks i kinda stopped working. i'm ending the year with a bang though. acing all my courses as a final stoofoo to my school.

im doing great in all my classes except for english and algebra 1...algebra i have a D- and english i have a D...oh well i get out of school june 9th so...all i have to do is keep everything up above an F then im ok i guess...

If I rock the finals in Anatomy and Chem 3, I'll be in good shape. Western Civ 2 is a pushover, so I'm not worried about that. My pharmacy class is cake too.

| i really hate some of my teachers ok just my hippy digitalphoto teacher. so we have this thing called the no pass no play list, i comes out every friday and makes you uneligable to play sports, teachers turn in their list on thursday and the list comes out the next day. well last friday i show up to school at my normal time of 5:45, after im done working in the lunch room i go to the JROTC building where i finish any homework or just go on the internet. my senior army instructor runs in and gets on me about a 43.2% i have in DigitalPhoto. i have no clue why im on the list, sure im missing a couple assinments but failing was impossable, see all assinments are due on friday. so when i get to class i ask my teacher "what the hells goin on with my grade?" well she put in 0's for what she hadent graded for the past 3 weeks, so i sat their and made her grade everything, now im sitting at a 96.5%. i thought i was sitting at a low C in government because i get really bored in that class and dont do some of the work, anyway he pulled me outa class yesturday, im the only student with an A (98.9%) in his 6 classes he has nearly 100 students including my twin. |

I don't understand how anyone can fail.
This is the last semester of my senior year, so I have senioritis hardcore... I've barely been doing my work, hardly pay attention in class, and I still have a 3.15 GPA for this semester. -------------

Im getting a 4.0, oh yah all "A"s I decided to take algebra this year, i dont know whats so hard about it, its just putting numbers into formulas and solving them i have really stupid kids in my class though, they ask soooooooo many questions, there cheerleaders too, so there always like" oh my god, i didnt know that" and "so, basically 3x5 equals 15" she actually said that, i couldnt believe how stupid some people are -------------

I failed Algebra 1 twice this year. I talked to my teacher and he said that he'd pass me for the year if I pulled a C on this quarter and a C on the final.

I pulled a 4.2 [Straight A's + AP classes] all year this year, but the combonation of being accepted to college and already having about 80% of it paid for is bringing about a wicked bad case of senoritis. I think I have like, 3 A's and 3 B's at this point.

lol!!! you see I have the high life. theres this program we call
"project plus" now this is how it works... So you screw around for two
years and at the end of sophmore year the prinicple will reccomend that
your a canidate for this program. then you are sent to this little
small building on the side of the highschool. where you will then screw
around for two more years and then graduate. better yet Plus is not
credit based otherwise I would still only
have 9.750 credits from freshmen and sophmore year.... heh heh.......
and there is no homework i have nt seen a piece of it in two years...

I got 100% in Mine Awareness
90%in foreign weapons proficiency and I think i did failry well in cultural awareness but i couldn't understand what my smufty teacher was saying. all in all, I think i did well on my pre-deployment training semester! :) ------------- A second class drive is always better than a first class walk. |

I had a 3.75 GPA last semester. Would have had a 4.0 if it wasn't for math. And hopefully it will stay the same. It all depends on my current math class

All above 97 (Honors Alg. II (98), Honors Spanish II (100), Computer Apps. II (97)). In Honors English II I have arguably the hardest teacher in the school. I have a 91 in that class, but the highest grade is a 94. GPA 3.95 Amazing what a little work can do for you. |

yesterday my prof said "lets make a deal, write a grade on your final and if i think its reasonable il give it to you for the year"
i put down an A and she oked it... thing i hate now is ive been getting Bs and its slowly taking its toll. i have 50+ credits and a 3.5+ gpa but every time i get a B i watch my gpa slip  i had a great teacher in a 4 credit class set up his grade scale with an A as a 94 or above...i know i had a 90 or better in the class...

the highschool down here has a 94+A
my sister had straight As when we lived in mass (90+A) and when she came down here a whole bunch of her As got swiched to Bs. it killed her GPA. i understand that a lower GPA at a school that has that system but when you start applying to schools like BC and North Eastern i dont think they realy look at that... i understand my GPA is good but with my sister as an A student and my mom paying for school Bs and Cs dont go over as well as As... ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

Not neccessarily pointing the finger at you merc, but teachers like this are the reason American High School/College kids are friggin stupid. Especially where math is concerned. This is a major problem in High School and Commuity Colleges but its becoming one at Universities as well. I tried to tutor some people in Algebra last semester. Oh. My. Good. Lord. That was a train wreck. When I asked how these guys and girls passed high school when they couldn't even grasp the concept of algebra, the general concensus was that their teachers just passed them. When you look at countries like Japan and then look at us on a scholastic level, its just pathetic. all she did was make the final optional... i have a 90+ avg in the class i was getting an A prity much regardless of what i got on the final...
some people put As down and she said no... she dident just pass people, but i do know what your talking about. i dropped out of HS and had to take algabra 1 in college. with help i plan on learning algabra 2 over the summer (gf and sis have crazy high lvl math) taking precalc in the fall and going on through calc 3... most all my teachers in college made the final as a bonus test. couldent hurt you but if you wanted to up your grade you took it. ------------- saving the world, one warship at a time. |

Hahahaha i only got 90 in FW because I dropped the PPSH. The WO made me do 25....but it was pretty easy class.
I'm doing all my DAGGing in kingston. I'm not with a Brigade so i don't need the workup they get. Leave date is getting closer and i am getting pretty excited/nervous! All the boys been dieing recently...i should be subbing in during a big taliban offensive :D yippee! ------------- A second class drive is always better than a first class walk. |
