Hey Tippmann is cool and everything, but in no way are they goin to give out a free upgrade. They are going to offer it as an upgrade but you WILL have to pay for it. -------------

it looks like it will work ok. The spyder atc system mad ea ton of money and they don't always work good.

Calm down. Is it not justifiable for a company to make improvements on the design of their paintball gun? They didn't give everybody free 98 customs when they first came out just because you couldn't put a response trigger on the old model 98. They found a way to make their product better and now they need a little compensation for their efforts. That's what makes them a company. Theres actually no point getting the upgrade for the A.C.T. cuz at some
point tippmann will come out with an even better Anti-Chop Bolt. Dont get something just because its there. ------------- once i said during a thunderstorm "if im a noob at paintball, then let me be struck by lightning in 3 seconds. "1..2...." then i saw a bright light and everything went black. |

| I have called tippmann to check if they have a kit to purchase for the upgrade and they told me you just had to buy the gun itself. Now i'm sure that'll change as it goes along. Just like the cyclone. When the A5 came out they didn't have the cyclone for the 98 right away. They made money off of people switching over then released it for the 98. Same thing will happen with the ACT. people will go to that and transfer their mods then they'll release the upgrade for basic 98c users. I personally would love to try the upgrade for myself. |
