The guy has 5 posts guy, just help him with his question and tell him about the search button.

The RT works in both the Tippmann 98 and Tippmann A-5 and it uses excess gas to reset the sear.  This will cause you to fire faster.

True he only has 5 posts, but he is supposed to read the rules when he joined. They say something along the lines of searching before you ask a question. If he had searched and still couldnt find an answer I would have helped him.

ahh, its ok. he's new he doesn't realise. but yea. excess air that is put into the power tube leaves the pwoer tube through a small channel, it travels along the hose and it goes into the responce trigger which evertime you pull the trigger the pin is reset causing extremly fast shooting

yes. Basically there is a piston behind the trigger that pushes the trigger (and sear) back into place much more quickly than the typical spring return would do. You can find the "sweet spot" in the trigger by setting the input pressure into the piston correctly and then pulling on the trigger until you are pulling with around the same pressure the piston is pushing out. This causes you to rapidly pull the trigger without having to release it to reset the sear. Basically, if you find the sweet spot, it's like going full-auto.

Really? I thought that AGD came up with the idea first.... you know.... with the automag having the trigger return piston from the very beginning and the RT mag having quick-fire capabilities much faster than the RT system for tippmann.....
