ok, i dont know if im being the usual idiot i am or what, cuz i just got an A-5 w/ E grip and i dont think my A-5 is cocking! Plz explain y, i pull the lever back but no clicking or locking occurs! HELP!

Have you taken the gun apart since you have gotten it? Because small internal parts on tippmanns easily losen when taking it apart.

Sounds like you sear spring is missing/disengaged preventing the sear from catching the notch in the hammer (rear bolt).

sear or sear spring problem.  Open the gun and look at all the parts, make sure their all where the manual says.

Beat me to it Bruce/Ravenguard.

This happened when I first bought (and immediately disassembled) my CPro. I was kinda panicking, but when I calmed down i realized how simple it was. Call Tippmann, they may send you another one. I have noticed that pen springs are roughly the same size as the sear spring. One could be used in a pinch.
