| ok, i dont know if im being the usual idiot i am or what, cuz i just got an A-5 w/ E grip and i dont think my A-5 is cocking! Plz explain y, i pull the lever back but no clicking or locking occurs! HELP! |

Have you taken the gun apart since you have gotten it? Because small internal parts on tippmanns easily losen when taking it apart. -------------

Sounds like you sear spring is missing/disengaged preventing the sear from catching the notch in the hammer (rear bolt). -------------

sear or sear spring problem. Open the gun and look at all the parts, make sure their all where the manual says.

Beat me to it Bruce/Ravenguard. This happened when I first bought (and immediately disassembled) my CPro. I was kinda panicking, but when I calmed down i realized how simple it was. Call Tippmann, they may send you another one. I have noticed that pen springs are roughly the same size as the sear spring.
