I'd like to enter my M4 98 Redux. I bought this gun last year around July and have been modding it ever since. A lot hard work and time have been put into completing this gun. Also recently I learned that although my gun used to say 98 custom, it has custom pro internals, odd, eh? Makes my gun a little different from the rest. Im currently deciding if I should get an E-Bolt. Enjoy!

Boo nauzerlvr... you've got a much higher budget than the rest of us dedicated to your guns. Do you even take yours out to play at all or are all these only for the TOTM? Every one of your markers doesn't have a ding, scratch or even dirt on them.

I applaud your entire collection though.

when you finish a marker is when you take pics of them, not after they have been battle tested/scared.

Thanks Gangster and Tigman, you're both exactly right!

And, asncowboy, I entered the AK for the paintwork. It doesn't take a big
budget to use an airbrush or to drybrush a marker. Just for the record...since
I do a lot of marker painting, doesn't it stand to reason that I just might
touch up any dings or scratches I might get?

When I get new shell halves for my Reloader, I'll cut the feedneck down.

Hey hey now, I meant no hard feelings here. And for the record, when I
was talking about a "budget" its the fact that you have so many markers
to paint up. While most of us has 1 or 2.

I'm not trying to take away from your awesome collection. If I had that
kind of time on my hands to do great dry brushing on my paintball guns
I'd be defensive about my collection too.
...but then again, I'd be too scared to take out some of your markers on
the field after you put so many hours into them, so they'd just sit in a
case collecting dust.

Those that share the love of speedball, please don't misunderstand what I
meant. Personally, I watch speedball on ESPN2 all the time. I just don't
play it myself. It's just too fast for me. And now I've gotten into the MilSim
aspect of it all.

yeah nauzerlvr speedball does go pretty fast but thats what makes it so fun. I like playing woods if i am playing with people who arn't scared of the ball. Thats what makes a game boring(don't get me wrong speedball have them too but it fun bunkering them )

nauzerlvr put your gun back in there like i said i would love to see your work

I have no doubt its fun! I've played a version of speedball but it just
moves way to fast for me.

I'm not entering the TOTM contest, but since you asked, here's some of
my work:

These are awaiting painting.

These have already been painted.

As you can see, I rather like MilSim, but hey, that's just me. Some of my
mods now have new owners.

Is that Wood Stock on the 47 painted, or is it real wood?

All the "wood" on the AK's is airbrushed plastic.

All hail Nauzerlvr for his amazing collection.

If you haven't already done so I think you should do a "how to" on
successfully creating wonderful milsims as the ones you have blessed those
Tippmans with.
I for one will surely listen to your advice as I have been inspired by your
amazing work.
I have an idea for a snake print woodland camo idea. Perhaps we should be
in conversation over msn or something so we can discuss methods of
airbrushing.

(I have also withdrawn from the TOTM thread as I agree with Nauzerlvr)

Have you Tried TS's AK kit? He uses real wood for his AK Mods. They look awesome. No offense but I think hte airbrushed wood look a little tacky.

Airbrushed plastic lasts longer than wood and it's heavier. As much as real
wood seems cool, with all that extra gear on the gun you'd try to make it as
light as possible.

i love you work Nauzerlvr. The one thing i don't like about mil sim are the people who put a mag, stock and barrel on and call it mil sim. granted they are on their way but it just looks tacky. You have some of the best i have seen. *bows down*

I completely agree, Eric's guns are second to none! The guy is a genius
and super talented. And you're also correct when you say they look
awsome. The conversion kit he sells is $499.00 plus $15.00 s&h. That's
for the kit, not including the gun. So you're looking at $499.00 plus about
$250.00 or so for the gun for a total of somewhere in the neighborhood
of $750.00. Are you ready to plunk that down? If you can afford that,
more power to you dude!

I disagree that my airbrushing to simulate wood looks "tacky" . I think for
milsim, it looks much better than black plastic. I guess we just have
differing opinions on some things.

I did notice that in your question, you obviously had some difficulty
telling the difference between "real wood" and the airbrushing.

i cought that too. snake, i respect you, but if you cant tell the difference between airbrushing and the real thing, than you have no grounds calling it tacky...

I could tell the difference thats the reason why I asked, just to make sure. I just have never seen wood that bright before, and I didn't know if it might have been a stain he used.
