meh. they are ok. i never did like the apperance of nerves. to me it looks like they just tried to sleek-up an impulse. i dont know about performance, though. i DO, however like shockers, so cool!

teh shocker needs a new trig. the bulky trig looks too stock.... get a sleek and sexy thing on there.... they're both okay... but like detrevni said, nerves arn't that great to look at.... but nonetheless beat my cocker.... prolly...

Thanks for the comments, all =)
OOshanis, yes, the vLocity is sooo much nicer than a Halo; it's faster, much lighter, and it can see dark-shelled paint. I need to shave down the feedneck a little so that it sits lower, but other than that it's amazing
Woodman, he only owes me another 250 or so (Freak kit and Virtue board still to pay off), and he's having a good time playing. I look at it as a bonding thing for the two of us. He's 15, I'm 21, so there's not alot that the two of us can do together (he's too young to go out drinking with me, I'm too busy most times to sit around and play video games with him). We both work at the same field, and play on the same team, so we spend a good amount of time around each other, and it's really helped the sibling relationship thing. It's worth every penny.
redneckcgil29, I really don't have all that much money just laying around; hell, I'm a college student who's in a band and plays paintball. It's a matter of finding a good deal and picking up a marker cheap, then re-selling it at a higher price. I picked up a nice Dark Shocker a few months back for 500, took off the CP reg it had, replaced it with the stock Max-flo, and sold it for 650 three weeks later. I've found a number of good deals, and have just enough capital to pick up markers and resell them quickly. Right now I'm sitting on an 05 Speed that I need to move so I can afford to move out, lol

You're right, they're the ***** grips...my mistake, I was tired when I posted. They all feel/look horrible anyhow, I've been trying to trade 'em for a pair of black Dye Stickies like the ones on the Shocker, but havn't found any

Thanks again for the comments, all
Sureshot, it's basically a Nerve board with more firing modes...
Team board capped at 35 bps
"Team board" Modes *can also be capped*
-Semi
-Rebound 1 *12bps kick n rate*
-Rebound 2 *10bps kick n rate*
-Rebound 3 *8bps kick n rate*
-Rebound 4 *7bps kick n rate*
-Rebound 5 *6bps kick n rate* (a guess at kick in rate)
-Rebound 6 *5bps kick n rate* (a guess at kick in rate)
-Rebound 7 *4bps kick n rate* (a guess at kick in rate)
-Rebound 8 *3bps kick n rate* (a guess at kick in rate)
-Full Auto Settings
--Full Auto
--Modified NXL 1 (1 shot, Full Auto)
--Modified NXL 2 (2 shots, Full Auto)
--True NXL Mode
Certainly does the job for me, although I'd still kinda like a Pred or Virtue, just because they're easier to work with
