OK, its mothers day, I have nothing to do. My girlfriend is at her moms house. No time for paintball and my mom is using the tv. Anyone know of any cool, homemade ghetto crap that I can make from junk lying around? (Like Silencers and "Flame throwers" for paintball, Ive already tried the silencer and forget flamethrowers) Any ideas? Grenades would be a great idea too

get a water bottle. cut the end off of it. sand the threads for the cap. rig up a handy lid system. voila, a handy paintball funnel. you can use it for a hopper, a pod filling system for 10 round tubes, and other handy stuff.

potato cannon powered by ether.
my friend did it. with just a little flick of spray, he launched a tennis ball about 3-400 feet!

be careful with the ether...i have a buddy that made one, and all you need is a SUPER short spray...extremely explosive.
another buddy used a racquet ball..launched it over a lake...
try going for distance...

Real grenades arnt THAT hard to make....
Depends if you want Molotov cocktails or regular Gunpowder and fuse ones. The only bad part about using gunpowder is its extremely easy to use too much.
But I was talking about paintball grenades.

I made sweet grenades out of bottlerockets and hot glue, super easy...
Essentially, just hot glue a dozen paintballs to the outside of a bottle-rocket, light, and throw...as long as the glue is good, the balls stay on when it hits the ground...good spray pattern and loud bang, but not super large radius-3 foot kill zone or so...kinda just a screw around thing...

If you know the basic principle for a dry ice bomb, use that, but use paint instead of water. Works for me, but no feild accept my private one lets you use them.

Materials Needed: Soup Can 12 gram Puncture pin(nail will work maybe?) Threaded pipe(big enough for 12 gram to go in) Cap for pipe Some kind of powdered Paint mix. wooden dowell that is big enough to fit in the pipe and one that is smaller(about the size as a dime works)
Drill Holes at one end of the Pipe. Mount this pipe in the middle of the soup can with the punture pin in the middle of the pipe so that when a 12gram is inserted it is in the right spot to puncture it.
Drill a hole in the pipe cap large enough for the smallest piece of dowell to fit in but small enough so that the larger dowell won't come out. screw/glue/nail(whatever is handy) the two pieces of dowel together insert them into the hole in the cap. insert 12gram into the piep screw on cap so that the 12gram is snug(not to snug that it will go off in your face though) Fill the can up as much as you desire of the powdered paint mix( just above the holes that were drilled work fine.)
dig a hole to put it in behind a favourite spot that people like to hide behind and cover it with some leaves or something and what for the big puff.
this may not work at all fields some some allow mines and some don't. the ones that allow mines might not count the powdered mix to be a "kill". i havent tried putting a liguid in them so im not really sure if it would work or not with them. i can post pics when i find mine. i put them away after last season and now i can't find them.

100' is a big distance to allow, so there's no reason for you to complain. It is really easy to launch a tennis ball the length of a football field, so don't whine.

Speaking of weird crap.....
I'd like an extension for the stock of my A5.... something to fit between the stock I have and the rear mount of the gun...something that mounts to the gun then allows the stock to mount to it and make the complete rifle longer by only a few inches. any ideas ?

Weird Crap 101
To switch my APE firing modes on the battlefield quickly... I use a Golf ball marker ... the little thing you use on the green to mark your ball spot while someone else is putting... "catch my drift ?" And a Band-Aid so the marker pokes through it and wraps around the end of the finger thats most comfortable.... damn quick change from single to full auto in a hurry ... When I got the urge to try playing pump again I picked up two Kingman Hammers used for $20 (one kind of worked and the other was inoperable with valve problems and a busted feedneck). I fixed one up with parts from the other and used it enough to get hooked on playing the occasional pump game but put it aside after I got my Phantom. I eventually repaired the broken one as well because I can't stand having a non-working marker in with my paintball stuff.
Then . . . I got bored over the last two weeks and started tinkering with one of the Hammers. After a little on-line shopping, a few trips to ACE Hardware and some extensive fiddling, I present the Ghetto Hammer.
Pic 1-Overall view: The pump arm, original hopper, original grip and grip frame were already camoed when I got it, I camoed the other parts I added. I also dremeled a Spyder sight rail to fit and painted both the rail and body black. (I don't know why anyone would camo part of a marker and leave the rest shiney.)
Pic 2-Close up of the stock which consists of a 12 gram quick changer with a PVC stock/extension attached. (I think that qualifies as ghetto.)
Pic 3-Close up of 13 round feed tube made from PVC, a BE elbow and a broken straight elbow I that I forgot to throw away. The cap is a furniture cap held in place with elastic cord. (Definitely ghetto.)
Pic 4-Overall view of alternate set-up: This adds the Ammo Box the marker came with and allows me to run constant air.
Pic 5-Close up of constant air set-up: Just add a Lapco dual tank adapter, a couple of 90 degree fittings from ACE, an air hose from a broken Black Maxx and a spare ASA from another project and voila; constant air.
Oops, I almost forgot; I replaced the stock barrel with a WWA Justice series barrel with Freak insert. (I had to remove the inner barrel sleeve to make it fit, but I'm sure it will be worth it once I get to play with it a few times.)
