Subject: E-grip questions

im thinking of getting an egrip i have a tippmann a5 and play a lot in the woods and i have seen several situations where more bps would have helped...

dose rain/wet weather affect the egrip

will a double trigger be hard to install with an egrip

is the egrip really that good or would the respons trigger be better

how many bps in semi and auto (or is it the same)

would it be good in the wood (that may be a dumb question because al most all of tippmann's products are for the woods, most not all)

...thanks

the ape board and e-grip is waterproof so it helps alot. the WAS isnt.

not sure about the 2x trigger, dont have an a-5

an e-grip is very sensative, u can buy a 25gram micro switch to make it even more sensative. i would say e-grip cuase i like the options u have, with the r/t u can only have one setting and its auto, theres realy no walkin an r/t.

bps wise i would say 20 w/ape(auto)with light chopping(they say it can do 25bps, not with stock iners though),i say 16 w/ good fingers semi. i like ape cuase it has way more options and is way more user friendly/ and the WAS i say can do 23 with light chopping(auto)(they say it can do 30bps but not with stock iners) and is harder to adjust.and like 15-17 semi(wiht good fingers)..... and both would hit those #'s easier with a ligher switch.

i say an APE setup, w/ 25gram switch., hope what i wrote helps cuase it took like 10 min, lol.

Humans cannot run fast enough to get through a stream of paint @ 15bps.

dose rain/wet weather affect the egrip

No, but I wouldn't recommend going swimming w/ it.

will a double trigger be hard to install with an egrip

No

is the egrip really that good or would the respons trigger be better

Yes, it really is THAT good. =D

how many bps in semi and auto (or is it the same)

I'm not sure what the new WAS boards are capped at...  sorry.

would it be good in the wood (that may be a dumb question because al most all of tippmann's products are for the woods, most not all)

The E-Grip shoots fast.  Major distinctions from the RT are that the E-Grip is legal at nearly any field in semi mode, and that it is walkable.  I switched from the RT to the E-Grip because the RT was difficult to sweet spot during run-throughs, and I am happy w/ my decision.

...thanks
