All barrels shoot the same distance with the exception of the Flatline and the Apex. The maximum effective range for any barrel is about 25 meters. Accuracy is mainly determined by the paint to bore match and the finish on the barrel.

The Flatline and the Apex will give you increased range, but at the cost of accuracy at longer ranges. They are better used for long range surpession fire than accurate shooting.

Overall I would suggest the Lapco Bigshot, it is IMO the best bang for your buck.

Without a doubt go with the Lapco Bigshot man, and when you buy paint make sure that it is .689 bore or less(most paint is) and you will be all set. IMO Apex barrels are cheap as **edited**(not mony wise, but concept wise) being able to curve ur shots is jus BS IMO. Flatline is good distance wise but def. loses accuracy. LAPCO ALL THE WAY, i would suggest 12''or14'', it comes to personal preference.

definantly go with the Lapco Bigshot. the flatline is a pain to deal with and clean out properly and can wear out over time. and as said above, they give longer range but really don't improve accuracy over the basic barrels. and the flatline is very picky with what paint you put in it.

really accuracy is about getting the right size paint for your barrel, and keeping your paint in good condition.

also the size of the barrel does not really matter, once the ball has straightened out after about the first 6-7 inches, the rest of the barrel really is not helping much. so as long as your barrel is about 8 inches or longer, it really does not make much of a difference, only dif is how much your barrel sticks out and if your can poke it threw bushes or not. some like long barrels, but personally I hate them, it makes the gun look odd with a barrel longer than the gun. and also it makes it so you gotta be more carefull about ramming your barrel into the ground as your slid over to a bunker. but thats just me, as I said, I am sure there are lots of other people that could talk about why they perfer having longer barrels. its your choice, really it does not make much of a difference in terms of accuracy.

Okay, first off everyone is going to complain when you do stuff like this and be like "USE T3H S3RCH BUTT0N!!!". Anyway, Opsgear interceptor/operator is a deffinate NO. Lapcos are nice but on the loud side and are very common, but very good accuracy. JnJ's are a little less accurate than Lapcos but are quieter and will clean out broken paint in your barrell(When a ball breaks). Also, go with 14'', You could go with 16" but that has a good chance of ripping you off with distance and giving you a bit more accuracy
