| I have a a5 with egrip went out and shot it for the first time and broke the rachet in the cyclone within 2 hoppers. my buddy also broke one a few days latter. Is this pretty common or not i, was thinking about getting the techt vortex mod anyone have any luck with them or heard of someone using one? |

This is a common problem withbthe A-5. Tippmann has fixed the problem with it. Call them and they will send you a new one for free.

| i did they sent me a new cyclone but my a5 is on a week old so i would of thought that it would have the upgraded cyclone. |

It's a little disturbing to see posts like this, since I just bought an A5 a few weeks ago myself. I have heard several such reports. And this past Saturday I stopped in at a pro shop and what's the guy fixing? Sure enough a broken cyclone from an A5, the problem turns out to be a broken ratchet, one of the clear upgraded ones. This is not a good sign.  |

The clear ratchet is not the upgraded one. The upgraded ratchet is a light beige color, and is a slightly harder plastic than the clear one. |
