Hey guys, I'm looking to add some nice effects to my A-5.. and I was wondering if there are any "scopes" that fit? If so, does anyone have any links to sites to buy them? I'm not looking for a red dot site.. just like a sniper rifle scope basically. I found these so far, would they fit? http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/category.asp?CAT=108 202303

There are no Snipers in paintball. Scopes are useless.

Then just get a tasco .22 scope from walmart. Specops is horribly overpriced.

Dont get a scope, look into a red dot. Wal*Mart sells several types for under $20.

Nothing beats a scope for looking cool. i had litle walkon kids telling me to take their position as they thought i was a sniper. i tried to explain snipers to them... whatever. heres my gun, i have a tasco .22 scope that i got from my pb store but you can get it from wallmart too i think.

i know i will get flamed for this but i actually use my scope. obviously not for one shot-one kill but i line enemy up with scope and squeeze off a stream of fully auto. almost always an elimination. only problem with scope over red dot is that you must get a rail to clear the sights.

heres my gun i like it:

any scope with a dove tail mount should fit your gun but you may need a site rail if you want to be able to see down it with your mask on, (that is if you want to actually have a game with it but again scope are usless but w/e works for you). you can get site rails at http://www.specialopspaintball.com - specialopspaintball.com . but ya whatever scope you think looks cool with a dove tail mount will fit. hope this helps ----- sean

Problem with that being, its only accurate if your opponent is in one spot. If your going to send a string at them, at least have the common sense to walk your shots in. You can't walk your shots in if your looking through a scope.

actually depending on lighting i find it easier to walk in with scope as long as scope is big enough. (even if you are never gona look through it spend more than $40 on a scope) mine was $60 CDN

yes, and you can message me personally if you want more detail.

i use a NcStar spotting scope i found on ebay for 50 or so bucks. you can mount anything to the top of your gun so long as the ''mounts'' are the same. if your gun is still in original condition, all you need to buy are 1 inch ring mounts that mount to a dovetail. they are cheap on ebay and easy to find.

i would buy the scope that you want first, then get the mounts to your gun. i'll send you a link.
