I'm sure you understand why we naturally assumed this would get locked. Essentially it was "Come check out the website I made." what do you use to code??? i made a webpage for a friend who breeds dogs...i took a 12 hr class on creating a webpage and basically all i got out of it was how to do basic hand coding... the first version of the page was ok... then i figured out frames...streamlined everything so i didnt have to change the menu on every page if she wanted to add a spot on the menu...then i found out why frames bite...they screw with search engines...a search would pull out the individual pages, not the frameset.....that sucks... then i upgraded to dreamweaver mx 2004 and have now brought the page to where it will be easily searchable and everything...just have to clear it with her before i post it on the web... dreamweaver rocks yo!!!! ------------- If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward. |

i heard it just had more pointless bells and whistles....plus, when i bought my copy i paid 350 and dw8 cost like 400 or 500...it was mostly a money thing...besides dwmx4000 works just fine for me... ------------- If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward. |
