When I screw my CO2 bottle onto my gun, it sounds like the valve is not stopping the flow, and it Hisses out the end of the barrel.  This isn't a slight hiss, this is a very noticable hiss.
What is this?  Could it be the O-Ring on the Valve?  I've also heard i might be that the Fitting screwed into the valve could be too tight...  Do these sound like the cause?  Please let me know what I need to do to fix this.  I'm going to have the gun completely apart tomorrow to try to track down the problem.  I'm also going to be photographing the Mods that were done to the gun body to accomodate the E-grip.  Thanks in advance for your help.

try cocking the gun, and firing once or twice. sometimes if you hook up the CO2 and don't cock the gun, the bolt will be slightly pushing against the valve, causing it to leak. if that's not it, you may need some new seals in the valve itself.

E-grip on a prolite? Damn man, get those pics up ASAP, I gotta see that.

Anyway, the prolite valve has a couple o-rings around the outside body of the valve, I would guess one of those is damaged and allowing the leak. Remove the grip and all internals, remove the air line from the valve and the velocity screw from the powertube and use a dowel rod or similar to push the powertube and valve out the back of the gun.
