I have an A-5 with expansion chamber and response trigger.  I just bought the E-Grip with WAS board and handle...and am having problems with the fit.

The new handle doesn't fit because the expansion chamber fittings at the trigger housing interfere with mating.

The old handle doesn't have the holes in it to turn on/off and view the orange/red/green light.

If I take the expansion chamber out, I have all these holes.

Help

so your saying, the activation holes that are below the trigger for turning on the egrip... you cant access them because of the expansion chamber?

while we are on the topic, can someone tell me how to disable the 3 trigger pull to initiate the 3 burst and full auto mode?  My friend's old a5 EGrip do not require the 3 trigger pull, it can just shoot full auto or 3 burst on the first trigger pull.

thanks!

You are confusing the expansion chamber with the RT.  The part that is sticking down into the grip and keeping you from putting on the E-Grip is part of the RT, not the expansion chamber.  The x-chamber is a simple screw-in device behind your foregrip (looks like a second foregrip).

You cannot use the RT and E-Grip at the same time.  You either have to remove the RT fittings completely, or drill a hole in the top of the E-Grip to accomodate the RT fittings.  If you do the latter, I would also disconnect the RT hose to avoid blasting the electronics every time you shoot.

Good luck.

First problem, dont let your gun mate with itself. No matter how long you keep it in your closet.

He has the old E-Grip which has a true "full auto" mode.  The newer electronics on the E-grip are from WAS (Wicked Air Sportz).  They do not have a true full auto, only the tourney full auto.

If you want true full auto, your only choice is to find an older e-grip or get a APE Rampage board, which will replace the electronics in the grip.  This will give you some extra modes over your current grip, in addition to the real full auto mode.  Check it out at http://www.goapeonline.com - www.goapeonline.com .
