wouldnt ya know it, the night before game my A-5 starts to act up. I have the trigger set to full auto , when the trigger is held down 1 shot is fired and the gun fails to recock making that empty air sound. I made sure to use a full CO2 tank, but i cant pinpiont where the problem lies, in searching the forum the best guess i can make it that i have a faulty power tube or value, this seems hard for me to believe because my gun is fairly new. I'm trying to get it fixed by tomarrow and most paintball shops are closed on Sundays, so if anyone has any ideas i sure would like to hear'em.

Try the stock grip, that will help us pinpoint the problem.

When you had it apart the last time, did you reinstall the detent correctly?

i had been using it last week and it was working fine, i never took it apart , i had just set it down for a week when i went to screw on the tank today just to make sure all was well this problem arose. So the short awnswer to that question would be no the detent isnt backward.

Check your rear bolt/rear bolt o-ring and your sear. If that dosen't do it try
oiling your gun.

Yeah i'm thinking rear bolt o-ring, if it were the valve you'd have leaks.
