So, i went to a pro shop around my house. It was my first time there. All I wanted to do was get my 20oz Co2 tank filled. He charged me $5.25 for it. I havent played in awhile, but isnt that a bad price? also, he said that an anti syphon would cost $15 and $10 for installation. Any thoughts?

i pay $4.99 at a nearby general sporting goods store, and at a paintball pro shop that's a little farther away, they charge like 2 bucks (a dollar if you buy paint), so i guess it depends on where you get it from....

My proshop fills everything under 10 oz. for $1 and everything over 10 oz. for $2. It is a pretty reasonable price if you ask me. I have got them filled at D.icks before and it costed around $5.

Well, here in the Silicon Valley, I know of no place that refills for less than $5 for a 20 oz. As for the cost of the anti-siphon installed, I cannot see how they can do it for less. Pulling the neck valve, installing the tube and assuring alignment, then re-installing the valve with LocTite (necessary in most cases). The cost of the tube itself should not be more than $2 to $3.

Field here costs $5 (I usually get it free, cause my friend works there) and theres a place downtown that fills them for $2-$4, and they do a much better job, also a local business.

make friends with the owner, then fills are always free! at $25 for A/S seems like alot but look at it from a performance standpoint, the diffrence it makes is unbelievable! besides, what did you spend on your last upgrade? hell even a double trigger (that does absolutely nothing for the performance of a mech gun) cost $20! yes the components only cost $4 at best but if you don't know how to do it $20 for installing it isn't that bad. if you take in 3 or more tanks you will likely get a discount.
