a. Balls never hit in the same spot twice. b. Plastic shroud along top of gun is bent = no scope Erm.. yep, that's my troubles with the $130 worth of headache and property damage. I'm hoping that the fact that the balls are soaring wherever they feel like going is either bad balls, or Co2 spikes. HPA might clear this problem up? What about just getting a long barrel, say +14" ? |

The flatline shroud is bent?(wait, is this a 98? I think I understand) As long as the actual barrel isnt bent(any more than normal), well then it shouldnt be affected. At what range are the balls not hitting the same spot? Try.. reducing/adjusting velocity, getting an x chamber or stabilizer, yes hpa will help, also you could try better balls, I use marbalizers in my flatline they are good. A 14 inch would help but you really only need like a 12, and if you want to spend the money I would definately reccomend the apex barrel. Oh, it's only the shroud that is bent. The barrel seems fine, and is usually good when just starting to fire. But it seems that the colder the Co2 gets, the wilder the shots get. The only thing I have against the shroud being bent, is that the mounting notches do not line up to the shot. Little things are just annoying the hell out of me. And I am thinking of the 14" or whatever because maybe then the shots will be more accurate? |

The Flatline gives you distance, not accuracy. The reason you may not be hitting the same spot twice in a row could be bad paint, velocity issues, or you're trying to shoot farther than the Flatline can reach. Have you looked into an expansion chamber or remote coil? These will give the CO2 more room to expand and keep your velocity more consistent. Also, make sure you are using a decent paint. The Flatline can be picky. If you want better accuracy and regular aftermarket barrel distance, I'd suggest looking into a 14" LAPCO Bigshot. Great barrel for the money and you wont be dissappointed with it. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.)
