No matter what I try; tightening the front allen bolts on the housing does not keep the A-5 thread adapter piece tightly inside the housing. I can unscrew it no matter what and this is very aggravating.

Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so do they have a fix for it?

I think he meant that you get a new barrel adapter. One that fits snug.

I have had the same problem with both of my A-5's and all i did was take the clamshells apart and sand off the overspray on the edges of the clamshells where they meet together. worked like a charm both times

Just the barrel adapter is lose. Just get a new adapter from Tippmann. Tell them the problem and I'm sure they'll send one out for free.
