A-5. Shiny Internals.
I've been leeching off my friends lube/oil all this time.
Now that he's gone for the summer I gotta get myself some.
I don't want to pay for high-class oil.
Anything that won't damage my marker will do just fine.
Something that I can get at Canadian Tire/Hardware stoes?
Thanks in advance.

The least expensive and top of the line oil is air tool oil...available in any auto parts store.

Just make sure you buy Hoppes OIL, not Hoppes SOLVENT.

Ah yes, forgot that part. Powder solvent would be bad on the o-rings.

i believe that gun oil will damage the o-rings. and also its not made for air guns. you want oil that is made for air guns. synthetic oil.

And you would be incorrect. In my dealings directly with Tippmann, I have been sent, on two occasions, sample containers of Hoppe's oil with which to lubricate my 98C.

Bruce said RIGHT ABOVE YOU that Tippmann sent him Hoppes #9 oil, which is primarily marketed as lube for firearms.

Can you please back these statements up with SOMETHING?

Please, tell me the difference between marker oil and oil for firearms...

Paintball guns just need the type of oil that is generically referred to as "3 in 1 oil" Hoppes #9 is just that type of oil. It will lubricate the moving parts, it will protect the steel parts from rusting, and it won't eat your o-rings. Hence, it is ideal for your Tippmann marker.
