wrong forum.  but i'm gonna help you anyway.  the reason they don't work is because they're made by dye.  i try to avoid dye when i can.  not as bad as smartparts, but i still try to avoid their products.  they are expencive, but still break.  and they don't work any better than anything else...  i mean, i used to use dye locklid pods... they broke so i'm using these crappy brass eagle vl pods... and i've never been happier...

well, the only guage i have on a marker is on my intimidator, and it's a 32* guage...  i got it used and it's still giving me accurate readings and hasn't failed me once...  with my a-5, i think i had a DOP Guage of some sort... i don't really remember, that was quite a while ago.

hey do you put the gauges on yourself on do you have a shop install them for you?

i have an a5 with LPK & would like a gauge like yours on it

also, what gauge do you have 0-1200 PSI  or what ?

i dont really know the operating range for a gun with LPK

hmmm...i've had a dye mini gauge for several years, not a single problem with it.  it was actually the cheapest guage for sale when i got it... you can put the gauge on yourself, use liquid teflon sealer or tape, and screw it in real tight. if u are mechanically incompetent, give it to ur shop.

you can put the guages on yourself.  sometimes they might need a special fitting though...

is a full co2 tank on the gun?

I had that happen to me before, where it just stuck at a certain point.  What I would do is take a pin, and poke it in the small hole, really really hard, that made it break free.  Also try hitting/flicking it a lot.  It happens sometimes.

the shop i go to, put a dye gauge on my tank,

they had cheaper ones, but they decided to put on a dye, which costs $20

is that good for a gauge?

i hate it when shops do that... my friend asked them to change a detent on his angel and have them test fire it and they charged him $60...  and the detent was scratched and didn't even match his marker...

and for your question, i'm not sure how much guages go for, but i woudldn't pay more than $8....

edit: sorry about bumping this, but it should get moved any time now...  please understand i wouldn't post if i didn't have faith in our mods...

no you dont need a special fitting to put a guage in the low pressure chamber. All i did is when out bought a guage and used a 90* fitting screwed it on and then put the guage on that to pring it around front.
