So how good is that c-3 gun that uses propane. Is it fast and can I put a cyclone system on it. I hate using electronic hoppers and how much is propane?

Also...it's not a darn pump is it? It sorta looks it.

Yeah, it's a pump. Arent any upgrades at the moment for it.

Nothing wrong with pumps...they take a lot more skill than any other gun or type of play.

That's true but i just thought I could put a cyclone and flatline on it and it would be awesome...but I'm not sure if you can use propane to work a cyclone...lol

i'd imagine that it is very efficient, simply because it uses such a small amount of propane per shot...

well, the way it's set up, you don't lose anything by it being a pump.  It's not like you have to re-aim everytime you shoot...  you just fire slower, saving you money....

Well I understand I was just dissappointed you know? Pumps are okay but I thought it'd be nice to use this with a cyclone system or something nice and fast.

well, the c-3 is all about being economical...  being pump makes it cheaper to play, thus letting people play more often...  also, there is a rumor there is a semi automatic c-3 in the works... just be patiant...

I bought a c3 2 months ago.  It's a good pump, loud in the woods though. I do have to clean the spark plug assembly in it fairly often. 50,000 shots between tanks @ $3.00 a tank, so far have only shot around 2000 balls out of it. I think propane will prove itself to be a very good propellant in future markers.

Great. A propane (propain?) powered semi? Can you imagine how screwed you'd be if the sparkplug got fouled? LOL

I don't know about a semi-auto propane gun like the c3 and the reason is this: The c3 uses combustion as the source or power here. When the propane combusts it creates heat. I think the main reason they made the c3 pump was that so it wouldn't overheat. By shooting semi it will combust more quickly and heat up alot faster. If you were shoot fast for a period of time you would be literally holding a hot coal. To overcome this problem you would have to have some sort of cooling system. It's very possible and do-able but it might take some time to whip up something like that. But I could be wrong...if anyone has actuall proof of the making of a semi-auto c3 I would greatly appreciate it.
