8 with the Egrip.  Looks different than most setups.

I like it the way it is.

Get rid of the Bi-pob, or move it up further. Other than that I like it.

I run a remote..keeps the gun light and versitile. other than that..not a bad set up..oh and how the apex work for ya..never tried it.

Looks great. Maybe a regulator. What do you think of the Apex?

Thanks guys,

Im pretty much in love with the Apex so far, as long as you have decent paint, the thing is is pretty damned accurate and the range is mind numbing. The first game I used it, I was using year old Torc paint that came with more than a few broken balls in the bag.

The first round I fired a 8-10 shot burst at my friend who was about 40-50 yards away on ramp switch 3, and he reported to me later that i hit him 4 times in the head...Amazing. This thing is way more accurate than the flatline, at all ranges except for the range it starts to surpass flatline distance.

The hook and drop shots can come in use in certain situations also, such as open pilboxes or other fortifications with no roof. Draxus Midnight has worked the best with it so far, you want to go with thicker shelled paint with this barrel.

And about the Bipod, I wasn't so sure about getting one either, but it was only $40 so I figured what the hell...

Im the captain of a scenario team, and I play the position of (dare I say) machine gunner. It does actually help when you have to reload while supporting team mates, you can use one arm to fire at the opposing team while using your other arm to reload your marker. The bipod keeps the front of your marker level.

It also folds and deploys very easily, and trust me, Im not the kind of guy who will be opening this thing up every time I stop moving. I only use it strictly when waiting for a LONG time to set an ambush, or if we engage a lot of enemy and i might need to reload while fireing.

But despite what most might think, it doesn't really get in the way at all, folded or deployed. It was worth the $40.

I like it. It's pretty cool for a woodsball type gun.

I really like apex barrels. Don't have one because I don't know how well they are in speedball.. which is what I mostly play.

i think you should get a slabilizer as a matter of principle... less FPS spikes, the more consistant the shot

I wish I knew what barrel to get.

Its between Jnj Edge kit/APEX/Stiffi

And I want to get a cheap, plastic Bi Pod. Only because of weight

The Apex is about as accurate as the progressive up to Ramp switch 4 (about 60-70 feet farther than the progressive?) My friend had a 98 and a progressive before he switched over to an Apex, and he loves it as well.

If your going for the better medium ranged accuracy, I would probobly go with the stiffi, but if you want the option of the flatline and "super" flatline ranges with decent accuracy as well as pretty good short range accuracy the Apex is the barrel you want.

I kind of like the Bipod where it is, it looks like its attached to the grip which i think is pretty cool, and Im not so sure if it would look as good if I moved it up, and theirs not enough room to fold it backwards so it would have to fold farther in front of the barrel. It would get in the way more if it were sticking out farther in front of the barrel.

The stock is already military grade, and that thing is SOLID. Unless I throw my self off a cliff while playing I dont think its going to break on anything

And I wish I had decent craftsmanship skills, but I honestly think I would end up sawing my hand off if I tried milling my gun or anything. A paint job would be sweet but I like the simplicity and military look of black. I also lack the propper skills to pull that off also haha..

Thanks
