I have just recently purchased a C-3 tippmann marker.. I have some questions that I thought I could get answered on the forums.

I was wondering if you need to take the battery out when the gun is NOT in use? And I was also wondering where I can get small cannisters of propane? I have only been able to find the 16 oz. at walmart. And I want to get something smaller. Does tippmann make anything like that?

thanks in advance,

bob

Check Home Depot, Target, Lowe's and other hardwear stores.

either that, or make yourself a MASSIVE backpack and carry around one of those propane tanks that's used for gas grills

Rather than gun powder, the C-3 BURNS propane.

I am looking for an 8 oz propane cylinder. Does anyone know where I could find one at? I tried all my local hardware stores.

i think the smallest is those ones that you screw on the nozzles for hand torches. the ones plumbers would use. and those are 16oz...right? im not sure. but that is the smallest i have seen.

I know that at Home Depot I have seen two different shapes, though they were both ~16 oz. There was the squat camping style and the elongated propane torch style.

There are small propane cartridges used in portable nail guns. Last night I went looking on the web for a good picture of one. I really could not find a good picture, particular one that shows the style of nozzle. It appears that it would require some kind of adapter to use those gas nailer cartridges on the marker (an opportunity for an after market product?).

since this is a new gun and propane and all. sooner or later companies will come about with smaller tanks most likely
