idk how to do a vid guys, or sound clips.

hey glazener: the paint isnt chipping off, i just didnt paint the edjes in yet. and that screw by the bottom o-the grip was collored in by a sharpy a while ago, i know i need to clean it off with some lacker thinner.

I KNOW EVERYONE, I NEEEEED GRIPS.

hey blackdog144:got a link to the one thats better, dont give me a link to prea's gun on model98 or nn's gun, i know about those already, the only major dif is that those have eyes, i cant really afford eyes and dont want to mess wit em, i dont mind taken mine apart at the end o-the day and cleanin out 2 chopped, thats ok to me. eyes for this board is $40, i dont think $40 is worth 2 chopped balls!!

any more coments or sugestions?

I would highly recommend powdercoating your body.   It is pretty inexpensive to have done and paint ALWAYS chips or melts, even if you fire it.   Oh and don't forget to have them do the nuts for the rt. side receiver half.

Other than that, you need to do some cleaning up... alot of jagged cuts under the hand grip, dremel them smoother and make them look like they are supposed to be there.   Cosmetics are just as important as function when trying to build a showpiece.   I'm not a big fan of the LPR with the micro-line hanging in mid-air, but that is up to you.

Its getting there...

~ Rico

PS... stop paying retail!!!!!   If you truly have $1000 into your marker, then you need to immediately seek psychiatric treatment.

first off, he doesnt have an r/t

second.. u act like he took $1000 and just spend that within a year, and it was over the course of 5-6 years..

theres nothing wrong with that.. he just loves paintball and wants to show everyone that u dont need a gun like an angel or dm6 to play speedball!

"First off..." know what you are talking to before you decide to talk smack.   There is a difference between rt. (right) side receiver half and an R.T. (response trigger)

"Second..." even if it was over a few years, it still shouldn't cost him $1000.   I had about $700 into mine built very similar with a DM5 board w/ WAS chip that I spent a few years on as well.   My point is that retail prices suck.

I never said anything negative about what he is trying to do.   Maybe you should try to figure out who you are talking to before you decide to pop off.

I wouldn't advise being so confrontational, you already have 2 strikes in a short time.  Nice marker, be nice if he could so something different with the microline to tidy it up.

Thats why they have something called the "IP bans".

Dont readily start confrontations if you havnt been on the forum for a long time.

You have to earn respect to lose it.. take it from me as proof.

I thought you meant Response Trigger too. Alot of people don't put the "/" between the R and T. It would be easier to just type in the "igh" in right and avoid any confusion.

Wow, who the hell do you think you are? So he (and I) misunderstood you. You could have been alot clearer. Seriously, who abbreviates right? It's 5 letters long. Just because you have been around here longer doesn't mean you are better than any other member in here. Don't try to look like you're tough **edited** on the internet, it just doesn't work.

if u look close its a square nut!! it wouldnt work with the screws i had for my drop and it did work with the ones i used holding the gun together.if u look close that screw is ran throught the safety whole and thats where the square nut is.

and just so people stop arguing about the prices, those r not retail, i bout probably 7/8 of the stuff off ebay, like i listed that i got "A boblong solenoid", well i got "2 boblong solenoid(s)" for 55. and since when does the price matter to anyone else, i paid for it, i also didnt list i got (2) rams for $40, instead of just (1).i get deals here and there, but when i buy somethin i need for the gun to work good, i realy dont care how much i pay.

p.s. no avence rico's revenge, thorngravy knows a whole lot about me and this gun considering that we've been talkin to each other for awhile now, so i realy dont care if he talks for me, hes got the story straight.

And just to remind everyone, im only 13 YEARS OLD, SO ITS NOT GONNA LOOK THE BEST!!!!!!!

O and about that hose thing, i couldnt find a 90degree elbow for the palmers lpr, it has oddball threadsi wanted to run it up along the lpr the along the trigger fram then into the gun, trust me, it would look alot cleaner if i could find a 90 fo it.

Trust me, some advice pimpin....learn to ration your money early...because you are going to need it later.  Don't find out the hard way.  But you'll find out it was a waste to throw that much money in so early.  Nice gun btw.  Just keep it cheap.  It will help you in the long run.

hey guys, i know how to manage my money alot better after this , try but to find a dm style led predator board for cheaper than 70....its very hard. i only bought the best stuff fo my gun so i would never have to worry about the part breaking.

thanks but i do not want a stand-of like that cuase

1: 2 more posibilties of leekin there

2:if i grinded it down it would be more snug

and 3:i dont think it looks very good with a qev stickin offa the bottom, imo my ram flows slightly better.

but yes, u have a point about that, it does make the ram look cleaner.

He can work, I do.  I don't get an allowance.  His gun is great, he put extensive time, effort and money into it and he likes it.  People need to lay off about the money issue because look at all the people that bought new DM6s, or Egos.  They run easy into the thousands, and if you are going to upgrade, then it might get into a couple thousand.  Point given.  Great job on the gun, not my choice of a gun, but it's yours and thats what matters.

why wouldnt my ram be able to do that, thats the most u can upgrade a ram, i forgot to list i shortened the stroke too!!!!!, its like 1.35in now!!??? i am positive that the shortest stroke on an e-bolt ram was 1.33in, im damn close to that.

i really don't like the milling/paint/grips and the ghetto screws, not to mention the zipties

It's definitely about performance, and I think you just about tie every other e-bolted 98.  Now go out there and kick some angel ass.

hey ravengaurd, please tell me how those screws are ghetto, they wont strip like the screws that originaly come with em, the one at the bottom of the grip was collored with a sharpy before i painted it, it was mocked together when i took the pics, all the screws are stainless and shiny now:

how else am i saposed to hold the micro line up or run it a dif route when the barb it coming outta the hole in the grip, the zip ties are there to make sure it stays outta the way.

and another question: how would it tie everyother e-bolted tippy, theres no way in hell that its a stock ebolt, not to mesnion ever other mod and up it has.

i must say that building your own E-Bolt is impressive, with that being said i am not impressed with the craftsmanship overall. the bolts suck, cuts under the grips are terrible, paint lines , hoses running in mid air, hose clamp for battery. with a few more hours all of these issues could have been addressed and made to really look professional! in your defence you say this gun was built for performance but you don't even have the volumiser on the LPK, that is a very important part of the LPK, without it i don't think you will get the performance you desire. only being 13 is no excuse for overlooking these important details IMO, if you take on a project like this you should want it to turn out as good as possible, performance wise and looks.

rating

performance 8/10 (because of missing volumiser)

looks 2/10

originality 10/10

attn. to detail -50/10

effort 50/10

don't get me wrong i think you taking on such a huge project at the age of 13 is awesome, but if you truely did have the gun apart so long what would it have hurt to take another week to resolve all of the issues i mentioned? you can have the fastest gun in the world but if it looks like crap it's just a fast gun, take that same gun and make it beautifull now you have a fast gun that everyone wants!
