As anyone tried the 14" Dye Xcel Barrel or own one? it it accurate? I heard it is quiet.  OR should I save up for the Dye Ultralite, is there a better barrel???

They are decent for the price. I would definitely take the J&J Ceramic over it given the price range. Lapcos and CPs are also excellent cheap barrels.

If you want to spend more money, I recommend getting a kit. a UL can be a kit, but remember that in order to change bores you need to buy a new back, which is about 55 bucks.

As HS said, you can get better barrels(i.e. JJ Ceramic, LAPCO Bigshot) for around the same price. I'm not saying the Xcel is a bad barrel, juts that the other options are very popular.
