MILSIM/WOODSBALL Ok, this month I have decided to run the GOTM threads... They are organized by Milsim/Woodsball and Speedball now. EDIT: NVM, ill judge "Im not judging this one, because i really have no taste for MILSIM, so #1 judge is going to be in charge of judging." Judges: No exemptions this month because of the new contests' organization. |

Here's my A-5 at the moment.   Stats in sig... I will have the Ricochet R-5, Tac-Cap, and stock hopper painted either tomorrow or the next day. The barrel is a bit shiny because I just finished varnishing it. My ape board, JCS trigger and R-5 just arrived today.... A little over 8 pounds, about 3lbs less than a real M203 equipped M16

Clone's is well constructed but I'm not a huge fan of that handle. It seems
like if you extend it down it would be very low to hold. You've got a great spot for a clip now... once you add that on, i think you're going to have to register that thing. Lookin' sweet. ------------- Ride it like you stole it... |

Nice stuff man, I've seen your gun before, when you displayed all the steps and milling you did. Looks awesome. And i like the Apex. If it were my gun, i'd only change two things, the front grip, and the stock. Perhaps a solid stock would go with it nicely since your going for the M16 M203 look. That's messed up that Cl0ne don't get to enter. Sorry man. That marker is un real. Since he doesn't get to enter, I had an idea. Why don't we have a Tippmann Of The Year. Taking all the gun of the months from the year and having a vote on them. That way he would be able to enter again. Or something like that. well i repainted my gun. its the same color but i repainted because the old paint was chipping off. its a cleaner job than my last one though. i also made a logo deal. i drew it and then scanned it, resized it, printed it out on a label, cut it out, stuck it on my handguard and painted. i did it to both sides of the handguard and on the left side of the gun. i know what you're thinking... i didnt make the logo (i'm sure there are other ones like it out there but i made it myself). the pic's a little dark but its the same color as my earlier pics. i made two logos. this is one of them and there is a front view of a b-25 that i decided not to use. i named my gun ACE because 1. i like fighter planes and good pilots are called aces (i think lol) and 2. it only takes one shot (not really but i have gotten 2 people out in less than 10 shots) oh yeah i also put that front sight on it too. http://imageshack.us"> ------------- model 98 - homemade handguard solid stock - opsgear mag polished internals homemade sling - paintjob operator barrel progressive barrel opsgear mag - stock |

Cool. I would suggest a new barrel for you though. I think that hand grip will fit on an apex...

i have 2 other barrels. opsgear operator 14" and progressive 12". its a homemade handguard and i didnt want to ruin my good barrels so i tried it out on the stock one. its also permanent. thats another reason i didnt do it to the other barrels. it was kinda a test to see how it would turn out. ------------- model 98 - homemade handguard solid stock - opsgear mag polished internals homemade sling - paintjob operator barrel progressive barrel opsgear mag - stock |

it looks cool do it to the cheaper of the two, or just buy a cheap jnj or summat on ebay, you can get a decent barrel for like 10 dollars
