So I posted a while ago about the 3d web browsers I was looking at. Looks pretty cool really. It would rock if combined with some sort of haptic interface and a desk that operates as a touch screen monitor. I have to say though, do we really want to organize our desktop like we do our actual desks? -------------  |

It looks like a hideous waste of time. Start > documents or Start > Program files Or I can get real fancy and browes around through My Computer. Id rather not have to dig through a pile of files to get what I want. If I wanted that, I would put everything on paper and throw it on my desk. |

Why? To make things more confusing? That seems like a smart idea, computer's are supposed to help you organize your stuff, not recreate the pile of papers on your floor. -------------

I would probably lose stuff all the time with that. My CPU/GPU processing power is better spent elsewhere.
