Hey guys, I'm back!(everyone thinks : "Who is this guy?"). It's been about two years since I was last here(or at least posted) but I've returned and as you can see, my new marker is quite "different" than my old 98custom.

specs:

*2005 Dark Shocker #166(bought it from Chris Locke from Avalanche)

*Spawn color scheme

*Custom Products shorty reg

*Stiffi barel 14"

*SP Q-lock

*SP High Effeciency Bolt

*Virtue Board

*Cp Rail

*SP On/Off

............hope ya guys like it (ignore the duct tape on the hopper's battery compartment. Someone stole that halo from me last week so I have to get another one (half red half black).

Pretty sweet. Gotta love the reliable markers that have been around the block and back.
Got a question about the Stiffi, is it really durable? I'm worried about crushing that darn thing. Your reply could be what swings the balance in regards to myself purchasing one...

I love the Stiffi! I traded my Freak with 2 inserts for it. I mainly did the trade just based on how light the Stiffi is. You don't even notice it's there(which is great if you play front and need a light gun). As far a durability goes.....I've never had a problem, but my friend's Stiffi broke when his dad stepped on it.

I love CP, but after a day's use of playing front all of the stickers started comming off, so I inded up tearing what was left of them off(they are all gone now).

Absolutely love it.  I like how they moved the reg forward and added room in the trigger gaurd area.

I'm actually surprised that the Stiffi hasn't become a dominant barrel in the
market. You'd think it would be a great idea being so light.
I think I"ll hold off for the time being in buying one though. Thanks for
replying to my question 20snipercat

ummm..............the fact that they cost a whole lot maybe........

there isnt a dominant barrel on the market, each gun has a barrel that is thought to look the best on it and work well, there isnt really an overall market favourite

...thanks for stealing my thread Evan.......

--anyways--

UPDATE!

I found my Halo...as I was brousing to purchase another one on eBay, I found my Halo being sold(surprisingly with the same stickers on it). I e-mailed the guy and asked if he would give me his address, because he lived in Knoxville, Tennessee(as do I)....so he gave me his address and I went over with my friend's dad who's a cop.... .... ....long story short--I got my hopper back(now with new shells).

the reason i don't want a stiffi is because it's carbon fiber.  it sounds silly, i know, but i don't buy into the whole cf phase.  besided my tank...

I don't buy into the phase either, but after I felt how light it was, I traded my freak straight up for it.....and they're really accurate.
