well im working on this thing for my gf since she likes green day, the paint is drying as i type, but this is a pic of it before i started painting, when its done probably tomorrow ill put up another pic.... ---sorry the pics suck, my webcam isnt that great but you get the idea UPDATE-AFTER A FEW COATS OF PAINT AND THE PIN, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS LET IT DRY SOME AND GO OVER THE GROOVES WITH BLACK http://imageshack.us"> edit- for those who dont know, its the green day grenade, her favorite band

i do turning. i have two lathes. but that's about it, carving is not my thing.

| i glued 3 pieces of wood together and then used a jig saw to cut it out, the grooves couldve been better but the blade that came with the set that wouldve been perfect was broken, so such is life. |

i was thinking of that, but shes literally obsessed with greenday, her walls are covered with posters of them, and its 95% of her ipod library....a little obsessive if you ask me, but heck, i love her anyway |
