I am having a heck of a time trying to get the .691 back on my 98. The .687
back goes on smoothely. I don't want to break it.

Edit-I got it on but now the front bolt sticks in it when I try to shoot.

Are the threads of the .691 back disfigured in any way?

No they look fine. I finally got it on with a little elbow grease but now when I
shoot it with the back on, it double fires and the front bolt sticks in the
barrel.

I don't understand it. The smaller bore works perfectly, but the bigger bore
has the bolt sticking.
