Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

If your air compressor is worth about $600 and you have all the correct hoses and fittings you could. You most likely don't though.

The typical shop compressor  puts out 120 to 175 psi. An HPA tank requires 3000 to 5000 psi. 120 to 175 psi won't even cycle the marker. A typical shop compressor cost from $400 to $1,500 and is good for powering a paint spray out fit, pumping  up the tires on the family car or running a small sand blaster.

A compressor that can fill an HPA tank or scuba tank costs $3000 to $6000.

Now, you could fill the HPA paintball tank from a scuba tank or an industrial pressure cylinder with the proper regulator and a few other pieces of equipment. All it takes is money, either method. The cylinder and regulator with connectors can be had for $200 to $300. Your local scuba or welding shop will fill the larger tanks for $30 to $80.

You will probably find that all that investment will pay for "all day air" at the field for a good number of games.
