The typical shop compressor puts out 120 to 175 psi. An HPA tank requires 3000 to 5000 psi. 120 to 175 psi won't even cycle the marker. A typical shop compressor cost from $400 to $1,500 and is good for powering a paint spray out fit, pumping up the tires on the family car or running a small sand blaster. A compressor that can fill an HPA tank or scuba tank costs $3000 to $6000. Now, you could fill the HPA paintball tank from a scuba tank or an industrial pressure cylinder with the proper regulator and a few other pieces of equipment. All it takes is money, either method. The cylinder and regulator with connectors can be had for $200 to $300. Your local scuba or welding shop will fill the larger tanks for $30 to $80. You will probably find that all that investment will pay for "all day air" at the field for a good number of games. -------------

my dad has a friend that found an old scuba tank which had an output of 3000psi in a firestation junkyard(hes a firefighter) and ill fill my tank as i need to and when its empty i will just bring it to my local firestation and they fill it up for me see if u can find an older style tank and go on ebay and buy an adapter for $50 and u got a fill station |
