Hey i have to decide what i wanna buy, i have a custom pro w/flatline, and i would like to buy one off these 2 for more bps.  But witch one should i buy?  If id chose the e-grip with WAS board **the newest e-grip** it says it shoots like 8-30bps...would a cyclone be enought?  And is the R-T hard to find to sweet spot?+does it uses alot of c02?  Thx in advance for the answers!

If you want to play in any tournies, you'll want the Egrip. If not, I'd suggest the RT. A cyclone would keep up fine. The RT isnt very hard to sweetspot and it uses excess CO2, so it doesnt use a lot.

and another queston...would the paintballs break more often in the barrel since there will be a biger flow of paintballs and because the flatline is curved?

The cyclone will not be enough for anything shooting close to 20bps.  If you have a cyclone, you prolly don't need 20bps, but if you are planning on buying one then I suggest getting an actual hopper instead.

And is the R-T hard to find to sweet spot?+does it uses alot of c02?

The R/T is super easy to opperate and can easily be made extremely fast.  It does not use anything but excess gas (meaning that it won't waste any more c02 than normal), and is very effextive and reliable.

Thx in advance for the answers!

If you want to play tournies, then the R/T is not ussualy tourny legal (although it is at my local field) and is not a smart choice.  However, if you only play recball, you want to go with the response.

Wow ok well i think ill go with the R/T and cyclone, since i dont play tourneys, but i read earlier that i needed an adapter since both R/T and cyclone uses exes air...where could i get that?  would my local PB shop have that? or would i have to order it from tippmann.....besides i do have the money for the e-grip...

The adapter is just a splitter on one of the fittings.  Do you have the cyclone already or are you just planning on getting one?

I personaly don't like the cyclone.  You are better off buying a regular hopper.  I have an Egg and it works great.  However, if you can afford the Halo B, get it.

I dunno about Canadian.  The "egg" is a name for an Evolution II hopper (you'll see why when you see one).  It can get almost 20bps stock and over 20 with a $20(American) board.

Sounds good to me.  When you get the R/T, look for the Super RT posts on the forum.  It is a series of easy, no-cost upgrades that will make the rt really fast.

Dude you have 2 double posts and a triple post and you only have 10 posts.

FYI dont double or triple post, it slows down the forum

just edit the previous post

I love my response trigger. Its reliable and fast. I use an electronic hopper to feed the paint to it. I recently called tippmann to get parts to make my rt work with the lp kit. They were awesome, shipped the parts to me for free! I ran the RT with the flatline for a while. It was kool. I could spray 20 balls or so on top of someone far away, and it was very effective if they didnt know you had your sights on them. It was hilarious to watch them walk into the balls. I did notice that if they knew where you were at, it was actually quite easy for them to avoid the paintballs as they are coming. After a while, I discovered that I prefered a straight barrel, even for woodsball. But I had no problems shooting very fast through my flatline with no breaks. If you do go for the RT, get an expansion chamber.

I still havent seen any proof of those statements. I'd love to see a video and goldwave of a 25bps cyclone to back that statement up.

Meh, as long as it can reach 20 it's good enough for me.

I still have my ape set at 15 even though I have a QEV.

I spiked 25 bps once with my super R/T and Cylone combo (Vortex and white lithium, Qev, and larger that super R/T ID hoses).  But by no means is this a sustained rate of fire.  I usually keep it tuned down to around 18...  And I make out fine with that.  I'm also about to pick up a flatty for this gun since it's my all weather woodsball marker.  The E-bolt fair weather marker will use the Ultralite from now on since I plan to make it centerfeed.  The only thing is that with the cyclone you might need to mod the shroud slightly on the flatty, or so I've been told...

egrips have more firing modes than an rt and you can walk a gun with an egrip

i would choose the egrip
