I just got my new E-grip today and finished setting it to the settings I want.  Anyways when i went to put my ASA adapter back into the handle the bolt that goes through the ASA would not go.  If i tightened it all the way eventually the grip would start to split at the seams.  I think my problem is that the ASA is in the grip a little bit crooked and that is what is causing the bolt to go in hard.

The only solution that I could conjur up was to possibly drill out the hole that goes through the ASA.  Or might this be a mistake.

Currently I have my remote going directly into the gun. But that isn't my preference.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Loosen the three philips head screws and then insert the ASA, this may help with the alignment. You may be over tightening it , try holding the short end of the wrench and tighten , this will limit the amount of torque yoe can apply.
