I will be getting a 98 Custom from a friend of mine... I kind of told him I needed it asap and I'd offer him 200 dollars.... I really don't need it asap due to that I already have an A-5. I just said that so he would sell it to me at a low price... It has an Ebolt on it with some expansion chamber, a quiet riot barrel and some drop... I'm gonna test it out sometime to make sure I like it... But any suggestions on what to do with it after I get it?... I'm sticking with CO2 so you know ahead of time...

Good price. At first I thought it was stock but then you said what it had.

Well a hopper first of all.

ya you should get a hopper when/if you get it. And that price sounds just about right...

So... it's an evolution?? I'd say it's a great deal if it comes with the e-hopper as well.

It already has an Ebolt...I'd say maybe a new barrel although I haven't heard much on that one and it might be good.

sounds like a great set-up to go scenario balling with , how about going for a mil-sim look ?

You know , something along the lines of Desertwookies work ? It sounds like its going to be a back-up marker , dress it out a little !

Do some milling/painting. I'd say loose the x-chamber and pick up a Palmers male. Then look into a LAPCO Bigshot. And finally, I'd say a BSI stick trigger.

I plan on going for a speedball look... Since I already have an A-5 upped for woodsball... I mean I don't play speedball but I figure it'll be a good back-up. With them thinking I'm going out with my A-5 and I start ripping balls and they don't know whats coming.... My other friend has a big shot I'll probably buy off of him...

Sice your sticking with CO2 I'd get a remote and a Palmers Stabilizer. This will make the CO2 much more stable and greatly increase your accuracy.

I've never seen anyone own the woods because of what marker they use.

CO2 will kill your e-bolt solenoid. You need HPA

Will CO2 work fine with the E-bolt?

You will be playing with fire. Eventually you will get burned.

How is that?

You don't want the liquid co2 getting in the solenoid and breaking it. I had
the same problem after I got my e-bolt off ebay.

of you have lpk and another regulator you will be fine with using c02

get a remote and a pack to put your co2 tank vertical. then you will virtually get no liquid co2 in your gun. plus the expansion chamber already on it.

I doubt he has an e-bolt with an expansion chamber....  It's definitely a low pressure regulator... or maybe he just has no clue what he's doing.

Unless its a really good expansion I dunno if I would trust CO2 with the E-bolt. Maybe upgrade that to a palmers or if you have the cash go HPA.
