I finally installed the Tech T vortex mod tonight.  I did have a question for anyone else who has done it.  Did you feel any difference in movement when manually turning the cyclone?  I believe I installed everything properly but I won't know until I air it up.  I can't tell the difference in it spinning any faster or with less effort than before.

Thanks for any insight on this topic

The advantage of the Vortex is it will not break, I believe the reason it can still operate on lower pressure than the stock ratchet, is that it does not flex.

Some of the difference in moving it manually is dependent on how much of the spring you cut for the axle. If you cut to much you will get lateral movement in the axle and have loading problems . If you don't cut the spring the manual activation will seem harder.

I saw no difference in manually moving the cyclone... The only difference you will see is when you gas up and you get near the end of the tank and your cyclone is still cycling when it would normally not be... thats all the vortex does

My setup:
A-5 silver
RT
X-core X-chamber
14in J&J
Co2 is the only thing available

I was thinking about getting it but should I get something before I get the vortex?

QEV is cheaper and will help about the same. so i would start with the qev and then if you have money or you really want to shoot faster then do the  Vortex
