sorry for my stupidity but I really need help. So basically I tried tuning down my 98 and the manual says "clockwise" so I took the allen wrench and turned it to the right slightly, shot at something and if I didnt like the result, I'de turn it a little bit more. After a while I started noticing that either little or no difference is being made and the balls just seem to get less accurate everytime. Tips anyone? and no I dont have a chronograph yet so until I get one I need some pro help. Thanks in advance.

take the barrel off and take the tank off, and look down inside the gun, you will see the screw, all the way in is the lowest it'll go

for most people, you can't just eye ball the velocity

The only way to tell what the velocity is , is a chronoghraph.

Hopefully your not so stupid that you cant follow http://www.tippmann.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=157392&PN=1 - this method. This method has yet to be checked with a chronograph but I am confident it is accurate.

You do not need some pro help...you need to take the money you would spend on two cases of paint and buy a chronograph... and get over the idea that you can tell ball velocity by looking at it. That is like trying to judge how fast the ball in traveling when it hits you in the top of the head by the amount of pain it caused.

Yeah if you want to know how its working you're gonna have to chrono it, otherwise by personal opinion.... Lefty Loosey Righty Tighty.... Left-More Air / Right-Less Air...
