What is the optimal firing mode if you are using a Flatline?  I have WAS Egrip and wanted some inputs from seasoned players.  Thanks

I mainly play woodsball if that helps answer my question.

That really depends on how fast you want to shoot.

The Flatline doesn't care.

Thanks Clark.  So if I want to keep on auto I shouldn't run into any problems?

If you do it will be gun-related.  The barrel (any barrel) doesn't care what your rate of fire is.

There is a common myth floating around that the Flatline somehow can't handle fast shooting - but rudimentary physics will tell you that this makes no sense, and the experience of many (including me) will tell you that the Flatline does just fine at any ROF.

And why? Just your personal preference, or is there some valid reason for this choice? Since rate of fire makes no difference to the barrel, give us a good analysis of your choice!

The faster you shoot the more the chance of a barrel break you'll have. Flatlines can be a  or, If useing co2 the less concistent your shots will be at higher rates of fire and Flatlines shoot best at around 270-280 FPS. So there are factors you have to concider but what ever floats your boat like others have said.

Nope.  If you're playing in an area that alows full auto then simply leave your egrip in full auto mode and learn to control the trigger.  I have mine set at 13 bps, and with a little practice it's easy to fire single shots, bursts or lay down a hopper full of paint.

Do u have a duel trigger? Then I would keep semi auto.

If you have the stock trigger, I always loved using auto response, just becasue you can basicly get any fireing mode you want to out of it.

If you hold the trigger back a certain amount of time before you release, you got slow semi auto

you pull and release slowly you got a faster semi auto.

3 shot burst: pull, release, pull and hold.

6 shot burst: haha pull and release the trigger 3 times.

full auto: you get the point

With a duel trigger, especially the JCS duel trigger, walking is fairly easy and I almost never broke balls in my flatline unless it was really cold. I was still shooting co2 at the time i was using my flatline also.
