For us that do work what is it ya doo.

I myself am a Diesel Heavy Truck mehcanic for Ryder transportation.

Some of the nicer trucks i work on these things are NICE to drive with most of em powered by Cat C15's and all haveing 13 speed eatons transmishions.  Very heavy spec trucks but actually quite easy to work with minus the PITA in keeping em SUPER clean. From left to right is 887, 450, 651, and i think 357.  And yes their beer is pretty good.

I work at my local pool during the summers as a concession/admission worker and a fill in supervisor.  So basically I sit around all day doing nothing except eating all the food I want while getting paid.  Get paid $7.00 a hour and minimum wage here is $5.15.  Its not much but it works for a summer job.

I am done with that for the summer in 3 days because I will be leaving for school soon.

Yea, way to skip the other half of it.  Last time I checked, people can have double majors.

Plus, I'm actually a really good writer, and a pretty damned smart kid.  I scored a 2210 on my SAT's, and scored perfect on both the english section, and the essay.  Not only that, but I've got friends in tons of high places in the paintball industry. I speak to one of the owners of Vengeance at least twice a week, and have stayed at his house on alot of occasions.

Now, go drink some more.  You don't post anything worthwhile anymore.

Lifeguard for $9.18 CDN per hour and Head Lifeguard for $10 CDN per hour at the oh so famous YMCA.  I work at the Y about 50 to 60 hours a week.

When University starts up again I'll be working at the University Pool for 9.25 CDN per hour and get "watch" much prettier ladies than I have to guard/watch at the YMCA! :)

I also work at a fast food place flipping burgers for $8 CDN an hour.  The fast food chain is called "Fast Eddies".  I work there regularly 7 hours a week.

My total hours at both jobs are usually a little over 60 hours per week. So it not too bad.

I do many things, Landscaping, Roofing, Lawn maintence. I was a florist and a bulk food employee in my local grociery store for two years.

I've been a proffesional photographer for six years, and am prepareing to open up my own studio withen the year. In the same biulding my father and I will be running a proffesional reupholstery shop. Getting kicked work from contacts down in detroit, as well as doing local work.

I also am a proffesional Sub-Contractor. Currently I am employed by 'Stathakis systems' which is a biulding maintence corporation. Along with my father, I was contracted by Stathakis to work for At&T-SBC in three biulding locations, Changing their light bulbs and ballists from t-12 bulbs, to t-8 bulbs, and compatible ballists. Which requires rewiring of the fixture, etc. Currently we are lined up for three biuldings, One in Cadilac, One in Marquette, and one in Traverse City. we completed Cadillac, and I am now in TC. We get payed 8$ a ballist, for normal ballists, and 12$ for more... complicated work. We change around 10 ballists an hour, and my father and I split the pay 50/50.

I have access to highly restricted areas of AT&T-SBC, I am granted full access to security codes, and I have restricted security cards to access high priority zones. To top it off, I get payed around 40$ n' hour. I choose when I want to work, and when I want to leave. there are a total of 2000 ballists in the three locations, equalling a 16,000$ pay out for my father and I, split 50/50 we make 8 grand each. Total estimated job time is a month and a half.

I have also been employeed by Marriot hotels, Specifically Ritz Carletons, for reupholstery. We got payed around 20$ n' hour there.

So far this week, I've made 1500$ and it's only tuesday :)

For a seventeen year old, It sure beats the hell out of flipping burgers.

As far as the 17-18 year old group go's. Me > *

Army reservist, infantry. On my resume I call it "Mortality infliction technician." Among my marketable skills are:
'Resource management' (ammo, rations, water),
communications ("GET ON THE %$&#ING GROUND!",
Radio repair ("Kick it 'til it works!"- Thor will understand),
'Survey and Measurement' (looking at a map and realizing just how many bloody hills there are between ehre and there),
'Leadership and subordination' (Screaming at someone to do something vs. getting screamed at to do something)

In reality, this summer I **edited** my labour out for the amusement of the Ottawa tourist population while my infantry skills degrade through lack of use. I gotta get the hell out of this ceremonial garbage. It's still better than retail though.

I'm also a student.
