This is what I've been warning people about. I don't know if you can get it out. You may have to buy a new lens.

A thermal lense has two layers, the front one is the one that protects you, and the one behing avoids the
fog. Anyway, they are joined by some kind of rubber which makes it imposible to reach whatever in between.
In other words, easy to get in, hard to take out.

cut it and then glue it back together

You could've started a thread with this, or simply search about it, there are a lot of discussions about it and you could've found the info you wanted easily.

Anyways, flatline adds distance, so if this is pretty much what you want, go for a flatline.

Otherwise, any straight barrel on any marker at the same fps will shoot the same distance (even a 20" barrel, but a 20" barrel in turn will make you fill your tank a bit sooner), but they'll differ in accuracy. The most recommended straight barrel is the Lapco Bigshot, or a J&J ceramic. 14" is a safe bet.

As for the mask, best I can say is see if it will dry over time, or contact JT.

Doesn't sound like it. It sounds like you haven't even held a paintball gun.

And stop PMing me or I'll block you.

But here's you answers, clueless one.

  1. No you don't, but it makes you look more professional. That doesn't mean you'll play better, and if you get your butts handed to you, you will look like a huge group of noobs.
  2. Since when are tourneys of any sport not organized like this? An unbelievably lame question.
  3. Paint does cost money. So do entry fees, air fees, etc.

Just to throw it out, I've been playing on and off for 9 years now. I started playing when I was 8. Waaay back when 888paintball still sent out black and white adds with a brand new Tippmann SL-68II and Novas! My first paintball gun was an SL-68II.

and to answer your question leave your gun out for a day or so in the sun it will slowly dry out. after all the water managed to get in so it must be able to go out.

worked with my scope

Wow, i didn't know you where that old-school...  I've been playing for about 4 years now..  Avidly from the start.  I do remember when 888 sold novas though...  I also remember when 888 was a good place to order, but last time i checked, their invetory was kinda...  low to the extreme.

crap, what's this thread about again?

Yeah... seems to be getting off topic, fast.

I don't know if you americans have them, but we call 'em hotwater cupboards, usually where the main hot water cylinder is kept. Like in a cupboard or other hole in the wall with a door... Mostly in like 50/60/70s houses. Its like a fairly warm temp, but not too much as to warp or melt it like blowdrying could.

Anyway, this is where I put my lens to dry every bit of moisture out of it before siliconing it, and its where you could put yours to get the water out. (should you actually have one... )

Alternatively the sun works too... maybe not as effective. Dunno
